Emergency Section 18 Approved for Transform to Control Sugarcane Aphid in Sorghum

— Written By and last updated by

Sugarcane aphid is still threatening North Carolina sorghum and has already been sprayed in Georgia and South Carolina sorghum. As stated in this previous article (which also details identification and management advice) we need to be on the lookout in North Carolina all the way through harvest to determine if this insect is here. Now we have one more tool in our toolbox to manage the aphid with the approval of an emergency Section 18 for Transform WG. Please see the attached label for use instructions.
