Description:

Did you know that National Pollinator week was June 17 -23? The Union Co Extension Master Gardeners will host a short talk on Pollinators and how we certified our Teaching Garden as a Wildlife Habitat, part of the Butterfly Highway, and how we got a grant for native milkweed plants to increase habitat for Monarch butterflies. Extension Master Gardener Annie Howell will have her Insect collection on display. There will be lots of information from the Pollinator Partnership as well as raffle items - beautiful posters or bookmarks!

Come join us in the Teaching Garden from 9:15 to 11 am. The talk will be from 9:15 to 9:30 followed by a pop-up sale of plants that have been divided out of the Garden, as well as some fruit trees. Quantities are limited so come hear the talk and be there early for the sale!
