Glassy-winged sharpshooter (GWSS) detections continue in both of our Northeast sites, in Perquimans and Currituck Co., and we captured our first GWSS for this season in one of our Southeast locations.
Graphocephala versuta, where present, continues increasing in numbers except in our Northeast 1 and Northwest 2 sites both of which have made pesticide applications recently.
Grape berry moth catches where zero this week. This is likely because we are in between generations. If that is the case, we expect the next generation to occur in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Note that these trap captures illustrate only the fluctuations in populations at our monitoring sites, and are necessarily not representative of population levels in any given vineyard. The only way to have an accurate assessment of populations in a specific vineyard is to trap and observe insects there.
