Our first vinifera location, in Rowan Co., began harvest this past week, and as the fruit were gone, we captured the grape berry moth again. This suggests that perhaps our traps have become more attractive as fruit is harvested or that this generation is not a threat to fruit. Regardless, this vineyard did not experience fruit damage from grape berry moth, so the densities present are not economically significant.
At both our Northeast locations, Perquimans and Currituck Co., we again caught glassy winged sharpshooters, although in very low numbers.
Graphocephlaversutaseems to be slightly increasing its numbers in those locations where it is present.
